About the Chrysler Pacifica

It was Chrysler that first popularized the minivan, and even decades later, it’s Chrysler that still sets the bar for the whole segment with the Pacifica. The Pacifica has maintained this position through constant evolution. Stow ‘n Go seats, hybrid and plug-in hybrid drivetrains, and available all-wheel drive have all added a ton of practicality to what was already an immensely practical type of vehicle. The only place where you’ll find all of those opinions is the Chrysler Pacifica, and it’s no wonder that the Pacifica remains popular even with so many 3-row SUVs available to choose from. The Pacifica also comes with a standard V6, giving it a class-leading towing capacity and the ability to carry the whole family at the same time with ease.

What the Critics Say

“It's easy to step in and out of the Pacifica thanks to low doorsills, large door openings, tall roofline and well-positioned seats. There's a lot of adjustable range from the driver's seat and steering wheel. Legroom is abundant up front, and large windows all-around provide great visibility and limit blind spots. The optional 360-degree camera system makes maneuvering in tight spots even easier.” - Edmunds

“Minivans generally sell out of necessity rather than actual desire, but the Pacifica does a good job of helping you pretend it's something it's not. It's a nice vehicle to drive, with handling manners that are more like those of a car. And with AWD, it has the high ride height and all-weather capability that might otherwise make some go for an SUV.” - MotorTrend

What’s New in the 2026

2026 is a noteworthy year in the storied history of the Chrysler brand. Marking a full century of excellence, the Chrysler Pacifica helps celebrate this achievement with an exclusive 100th Anniversary Edition package for 2026. Each of these variants includes a commemorative decal along with exclusive wheels and additional accents to the front fascia of the van. Two other standard features found on these trims are a 360-degree camera system and front parking sensors.

Chrysler Pacifica Features

Superior Versatility

The Pacifica maximizes interior space in a way that seems almost impossible. The maximum cargo space behind the front seats comes to 140.5 cubic feet, an amount usually only found in the very largest of SUVs, yet the Pacifica is nearly two entire feet shorter than a Chevrolet Suburban. And yet Chrysler still manages to pack the Pacifica full of clever and practical features, like Stow ‘n Go seats that fold flat into the floor, and the available Vac ‘n Go built-in vacuum cleaner, which is always incredibly useful for a family vehicle. That kind of interior space also means that adults can fit in all three rows, and thanks to wide-opening sliding doors, it’s much easier for them to get into the third row than it is in a three-row SUV. The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine produces 287 horsepower, and gives the Pacifica its 3,600-pound towing capacity, the best in its class.

Luxurious Comfort

Space to stretch out is one of the best comfort features a vehicle can have, and the Pacifica undeniably excels in this department, but it certainly doesn’t end there. Tri-zone climate control, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel all come standard. You can add to this with available heated 2nd-row seats, ventilated front seats, and quilted Nappa leather seats. The available satin chrome seat controls, suede headliner, and Berber carpet give the Pacifica the look and feel of a much more expensive luxury vehicle, yet these sacrifice none of the practicality that makes the Pacifica such a smart choice in the first place. And even though the interior feels plenty open and spacious as it is, the available panoramic sunroof provides tons of natural light, and adds even more to the open feeling. And to make the Pacifica sound as good as it looks, there is an available 20-speaker Harman Kardon premium stereo.

Advanced Technology

There are a number of things that set the Pacifica apart from the competition, but the technology that goes into it is a real standout area. Not only is it the only minivan on the market that offers the option of all-wheel drive or a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, but the cabin is full of tech that makes trips more pleasant. The infotainment system uses Uconnect® 5, a highly advanced and much-loved operating system that is responsive and easy to use, and it comes with a 10.1-Inch Touch Screen Display. For second-row passengers, there is the Uconnect Theater rear seat entertainment system, which includes two 10-inch touchscreens on the backs of the front seats and is powered by Amazon Fire TV so passengers can stream shows, movies, or music. Standard safety tech includes features that often come at an extra cost, even in much more expensive vehicles, and they include things like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, ParkSense® Rear Park-Assist with Stop, and Full-Speed Forward-Collision Warning Plus.
